I am currently recruiting for one our sister companies in Palo Alto, CA. They are looking for a Cloud Computing Monitoring GUI Developer and a Cloud Computing Platform (PaaS) Developer . Network/ Cloud Computing Monitoring GUI Developer

Candidates should preferably have a background in one of the following areas:

- Development of Cloud Computing monitoring web-based GUI

- Development of Network monitoring web-based GUI

• Requirements:

- Past experience with GUI development

- Excellent scripting language skills (Python) (PHP and Drupal a plus)

- Excellent AJAX/JavaScript skills (jQuery a plus)

- Excellent knowledge for libvirt and SNMP

- Excellent knowledge for CISCO IOS

- Self-motivated with the ability to drive features to delivery

- Quick learner: able to research, learn and adapt new and emerging technologies

- Ability to work in a fast paced high growth environment utilizing a diverse range of tools and technologies

- Team oriented, able to work with application and business leads in the design

- Strong technical and design skills

- Excellent understanding of OOD and OOP

- Excellent communication skills

- BA/BS in Computer Science, MS preferred or equivalent work experience

• Basic Knowledge with in the following areas would be helpful:

- A variety of Open Source technologies including Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Hadoop, libvirt, KVM, Xen, and etc.

- Experience with web services and RESTful development

- High level knowledge of clustering technologies and virtualization

Cloud Computing Platform (PaaS) Developer

Candidates should preferably have a background in one of the following areas:

- Development of new Cloud Computing Platform using Eucalyptus and/or Amazon EC2

- Development of Web Services and/or REST I/F

• Requirements:

- Excellent Java EE skills (Web Services, REST)

- Basic scripting language skills (PHP and Python) (Drupal a big plus)

- Basic AJAX/JavaScript skills (jQuery a big plus)

- Basic Linux administration skills (Installing and Deploying LAMP environment)

- Self-motivated with the ability to drive features to delivery

- Quick learner: able to research, learn and adapt new and emerging technologies

- Ability to work in a fast paced high growth environment utilizing a diverse range of tools and technologies

- Team oriented, able to work with application and business leads in the design

- Strong technical and design skills

- Excellent understanding of OOD and OOP

- Excellent communication skills
